If you do not input the proper code it will not allow the start/ignition system to activate. Other members have also had start issues with this Jaguar/aftermarket security system.
If the radio was in theft then it will display code and it will not function. Try putting the loop in place of the CD changer and re run the test to see if it will say MAIN then AMP. Experience: 12 years at a Ford/Lincoln Mercury and Jaguar dealer as technician and shop foreman.
