This is for the VW Engine. The Mk7 Golf does not require an oil change at the first 5k miles point. It is due at the first 10k miles/ one year but if your Golf is set for Longlife servicing as the OP's car is then it can go for 2 years/or 20k miles whichever is the sooner.

Definitely okay for Golf 7 GTI. 502 00 is for shorter periods of use, not “longlife” as 504 00 approved oils. Of cause you can change it often, no problem despite it’s a “longlife” oil.
